1. Who We Are

StanMowing is a lawn care business operated by Stanley Hill (age 12) under the supervision of his parent/guardian, Michael Hill, in Des Moines, Iowa. This policy explains how we handle information collected through our website and services.

2. What We Collect

When you submit a quote request or contact us, we collect:

• Name, so we know who we're talking to
• Email address, so we can get back to you
• Street address, so we know where the yard is
• Approximate yard size, to estimate pricing
• Requested mowing area, such as the whole yard, front only, or back only
• Service requested, what you need done
• Any notes you add, special instructions about your yard

StanMowing does not receive or store your full payment card number. Stripe processes card details during secure checkout. We do not ask for social security numbers or financial account credentials.

3. How We Use It

Your information is used only to:

• Respond to your quote request
• Schedule and provide lawn care service
• Contact you about your service (scheduling, weather delays, etc.)

4. Who Sees Your Information

StanMowing's stored customer and request records are available to:

• Stanley Hill, to know where to mow and who to contact
• Michael Hill, Stanley's dad, who helps with the business side

To calculate an address-based quote, our server also makes these limited lookups:

• Your entered address is sent to Polk County GIS to match the official site address and parcel.
• The matched parcel geometry, without your name or email address, is sent to the FEMA/ORNL USA Structures dataset hosted through ArcGIS to estimate mapped building area. That dataset is licensed under CC BY 4.0.

Cloudflare and Railway process website traffic and application data as hosting providers, and Stripe processes checkout information. We do not provide personal information to data brokers or sell it for advertising.

5. How It's Stored

Quote requests submitted through our website are processed by our backend service hosted on Railway and Cloudflare. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

6. No Marketing, No Spam

We will never:

• Add you to a marketing email list
• Send you promotional messages
• Sell your contact info or share it for another company's marketing
• Use your data for advertising purposes

If we contact you, it's about your lawn service and nothing else.

7. Cookies & Tracking

After you allow analytics cookies, our website uses Google Analytics (tracking ID: G-1CYXM1QBLM) and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people find and use our site. These services may collect:

• Pages visited and time spent
• How you found our site (search, direct, referral)
• General location (city-level, not address)
• Device type and browser

We use this analytics data only to improve our website. We do not combine it with your customer record or use it to target you with advertising.

8. Your Rights

You can:

• Ask what we have, email us and we'll tell you exactly what info we have on file for you
• Ask us to delete it, we'll remove your information from our records
• Correct it, if anything is wrong, let us know and we'll fix it

9. Children's Privacy

Our website is a business marketing page and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Note: Stanley (the business operator) is a minor himself, and all his business activities are supervised by his parent.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. We're a small lawn mowing business, our privacy practices are straightforward and unlikely to change much.
